This is one cool mod!

1. Obtain a copy of Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
   1. Grab it from somewhere used, it's dirt cheap!
   2. Grab it from Steam, it works with MBII!

1. Install the game using your CDs/CD images. To mount the ISO downloads, you can use DAEMON-Tools

   DO NOT install cracks to bypass the CD check, you can't play online with these. The first CD must be inserted or mounted.

2. Download Jedi Academy Patch 1.01 and install
3. Download the latest version of Movie Battles II and install it (more information and help available on their site): http://www.moviebattles.com/downloads
4. Make sure you have the first CD of Jedi Academy inserted/mounted, then enjoy the game!

1. You do not need to worry about CDs/ISOs or patching the game, that should be taken care of already.
2. Navigate to the GameData folder (typically C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Jedi Academy/GameData)
3. Extract the mod to GameData.
4. To run it, right click on Jedi Academy in your game library, and select “Set Launch Options” in the General tab.
5. Add +set fs_game “MBII” to it, and it will run MBII whenever you start Jedi Academy.

1. Are you using a crack? Don't!
2. Are you using a “mini” ISO? Don't!
3. Is EAX enabled under sound options? Try disabling it.
4. Make sure administrator privileges are enabled on jamp.exe (right click > properties > compatibility > tick “run program as administrator” under privilege level).

1. Post on the U with error logs/screenshots/whatever you can find, we'll try to help. The MBII forums/wiki may be of use as well (available at http://www.moviebattles.com/).

Remember all that junk about “don't use a mini ISO”? Well, if putting in your CD is too painful, you can try this mini ISO. But if you see issues, it might be worth trying without!

• Join the largest team.
• Join the winning team.
• If the largest team is not the winning team, feel free to encourage others to join the winning team until it is the largest.
• Use reinforcements.
• If someone calls you a name, kill them regardless of team affiliation.
• You can never have enough lightsabers on your team. The other classes are just for show.
• If you do happen to venture to other classes, bounty hunters are a good place to start. Thermal detonators and poison darts are to be used haphazardly.
• Rocket jumping (firing your rocket(s) at the ground) is effective, try it out!
• Taunt often.
