Who plays Donkey Kong any more?
On February 29, 2008, a competition would be created amongst the U for the highest Donkey Kong score. Many competitors brought their A game (if you have your old score/replay, please post it) until June 26th, 2008, when Dragmire dropped the hammer with an astounding 210,300 points. This record stood the test of time for almost 7 years, until the great King of Kong revival (hopefully) began February 2015 with the first of many (HOPEFULLY) new records…

How to Compete
- Obtain the U's DK competition package (good luck).
- Use the secret password (hint: it's “mfggu4life”) and extract it.
- Run mamep106gui-vc.exe, right click “Donkey Kong” and pick “Play and Record Input…” to start recording your game.
- Hit “enter” to get past the first screen, then use “5” to coin up and “1” to start.
- Default controls are “Left Shift” to jump and the arrow keys to move. You can hit “Tab” to access the options menu to change your controls under “Input (this game)”.
How to Watch Replays
- See “How to Compete” to get the U's DK competition package.
- After running mamep106gui-vc.exe, go to File > Playback Input and select the “.inp” file you want to watch.
